"Interstellar Angsty Phase"

Films: The Varrow Mission (1978)

Alias: The Varrow

Type: Alien

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Once again, there are alien life forms coming to usurp our identities like it’s no one's business. But hey, now they're younger and hipper than ever before! Okay, that was overselling it. This is kinda crap.

History: The alien we see before us is a Varrow, the alien word for 'traveler'. His species was suffering overpopulation, so they decided to invade Earth and dispose of the humans, whom they viewed as destructive and unworthy of such a wonderful planet. There are many of them, according to the Varrow, a lot of them inhabiting old abandoned homes as bases of operation. This guy was currently getting his jollies having to put of with rowdy teens playing cat and mouse in his abandoned mill of a base.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After taking care of the competition, the alien takes the form of a teenage girl, and hitchhikes his way towards elsewhere.

Powers/Abilities: He can shoot laser beams in his true form, and requires a large machine to change disguises.

Weakness: His shift back to alien form takes some time to get through, and his eyes are big enough for one to temporarily blind him.

Scariness Factor: 3-Credit where credit is due, this take on the 'grey alien' cliché is ridiculously evil-looking, but that's about it. Had it not been for his shapeshifting, he wouldn't be much of a threat to the human race. Then again, if he's a teen, what are the adults like...

Trivia: -This film had a contest to decide on its teenage cast. Surprisingly, they went along with helping on the set as well, and their mothers did most of the costumes.

-This film is also known as simply, "Teen Alien".
